Can i drink snapple while pregnant

These options may seem a good idea during pregnancy, except for the fact that they contain chemicals like aspartame and phenylalanine, which may cause you to question their safety. According to the American Pregnancy Association, these substances are safe for use during pregnancy.

However, pregnant women with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria should not consume products that contain phenylalanine since their bodies cannot break it down. Most of these products also contain caffeine. Few would argue with the health benefits of water, so you can drink as much Snapple spring water as you like. According to Baby Center, a pregnant woman should consume about eight glasses of water daily. Jordan Meyers has been a writer for 13 years, specializing in businesses, educational and health topics.

Is Drinking Tea Dangerous in Pregnancy? Can Caffeine Induce Labor? But does anyone drink Snapple? I heard you're not supposed to drink tea, that has herbs in it. I'm pretty sure thats all Snapple is. I haven't asked my Dr. And I dont stick to all the "rules" that we're "supposed" to follow. Like dont eat red meat or medium rare steaks and sushi.

I drink coffee here and there, I also eat cold lunch meat. I mean who are these doctors kidding? Taking away all the good stuff from us lol.

Ah, sorry this post was supposed to be about Snapple. Is it safe or not? Lol thanks. Original poster's comments 2. I figured tea was better then coffee or soda..

Depends on if you are trying to stay within the recommended "safe" amount of caffeine What I've read under mg a day is okay I'm sure it's not the best choice, but I would have to say that it's better than soda as far as ingredients go. Be careful tho, pregnancy can make it more likely that you will get kidney stones. Drinking lots of tea or coke is not a good idea. Water is best. I understand that being diabetic you have limited choices, but the artificial sweeteners in diet beverages to me are not worth the risk.

Not telling you what to or not to consume, just saying. I am diabetic too. I drink all kinds of diet stuff but try to do everything in moderation these days. All healthy babies so far!

Genuinely curious: If you're not telling someone what to do and that you think they're behavior is risky even after medical professionals say it's fine, then what are you "just saying? It's totally fine in moderation! A lot of pregnant women now days are super strict on themselves with certain foods and drinks when there really isn't a need to be.

I drink Snapples like 3 times a week! We strive to provide you with a high quality community experience. If you feel a message or content violates these standards and would like to request its removal please submit the following information and our moderating team will respond shortly.
